It’s a Hybrid of Capsicum Chinense AAND Capsicum Frutescens.
Bhut Jolokia is very similar to Naga Morich.
Popularly known as Ghost Pepper, Ghost Jolokia , Ghost Chili Pepper, Ghost Chili.
Cultivated in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur.
According to Guinness world Record Bhut Jolokia is world’s hottest chilli Pepper.
It’s a 400 times hotter than Tabasco Sauce.
Its rated at more than 1 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
This chilli was shortly superesed by the Infinity Reaper on 7 August 2013.
